Two Alarm Fire Guts Clinton Strip Mall

Clinton, NJ – A significant two-alarm fire engulfed several businesses in a Clinton strip mall on Sunday night, drawing a broad response from firefighters across Hunterdon, Warren, and Morris Counties.

The fire, reported at the strip mall located at 37 Old Highway 22, has affected multiple establishments including a Walgreens, The Open Cupboard thrift shop and food pantry, Just Subs sandwich shop, and JD’s Wine & Spirits.

Eyewitness accounts and reports from the scene indicate that the fire had torn through the roof of the complex, with the Walgreens suffering a roof collapse as firefighters from the surrounding counties worked tirelessly to douse the flames.
