Brooklyn Man Arrested After Queens Woman Found Dead

Queens, NY – Caitlyn Zagami, a 29-year-old woman from Queens, was found dead, leading to the arrest of a Brooklyn man on charges related to her death.

On Tuesday, February 20, police responded to a 911 call at 94 Rockaway Parkway in Brooklyn, where they found Caitlyn Zagami unconscious and unresponsive. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) pronounced her dead at the scene.

Reginald Newkirk, a 51-year-old male from Brooklyn, was arrested early Wednesday, February 21, at 12:20 AM within the 67th Precinct for his involvement in Zagami’s death. He faces charges of Concealment of a Human Corpse, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Criminal Tampering. The investigation into this case remains ongoing.
