Suspect Arrested in Monday Shooting in Dundalk

Towson, MD – A suspect has been arrested in connection with a non-fatal shooting in Dundalk, according to Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes detectives. The incident occurred early on Monday, February 26, when police were called to the scene in the 7900 block of Trappe Rd.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 32-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound. He was promptly transported to a hospital, where he remains in critical condition. The suspect, identified as 47-year-old George Gonsalves, is now held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center, facing charges including attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, and other firearms-related offenses.
