WHEATON, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Investigative Section are looking into a strong-arm robbery that took place on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Westfield Wheaton Shopping Center located on Viers Mill Road in Wheaton.
The incident involved an adult male victim who was confronted by three unidentified suspects inside the Target store. The suspects demanded personal property from the victim.
When the victim did not comply with their demands, the suspects forcibly took the property and fled the scene. The first suspect is described as a Black male, aged between 14 to 20 years, wearing a black mask, black jacket with red lining, gray sweatpants, and gray shoes.
The second suspect’s race is unknown, and he was seen wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes.
Montgomery County Police are urging anyone with information about the robbery or the suspects to come forward.
