Do You Know Him? Newark Police Seeking to Identify Gunman in Last Week’s Shooting Incident

NEWARK, NJ – The Newark Public Safety Department is seeking help from the public to identify a suspect involved in a shooting incident that occurred on February 21.

At around 8:22 p.m., law enforcement responded to a Shot Spotter alert in the 300 block of S. 10th Street. The officers found two shell casings but no injuries or property damage was reported. The suspect, a Black male dressed in a blue bubble jacket, light blue ripped jeans, and blue/white sneakers, was seen fleeing eastbound on South Orange Avenue after the incident.
