Juvenile Suspects Arrested in Connection with Baltimore Armed Carjacking

BALTIMORE, MD — The Baltimore Police Department reported the arrest of two juveniles following an armed carjacking incident in the city’s Northeast District. The event unfolded on February 29, 2024, around 4:40 p.m., when officers were dispatched to the 4000 block of East Northern Parkway.

A male victim reported that he was carjacked at gunpoint by a group of juvenile males, who then fled the scene with his vehicle. Later in the day, Baltimore County Police encountered a group of juveniles exiting a vehicle under suspicious circumstances at the intersection of Belair Road and Kenwood Avenue.

A search operation led to the apprehension of a 15-year-old male and a 16-year-old male in the 6000 block of Westwood Avenue. These individuals were identified as suspects in the earlier carjacking. They have since been taken to the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center, where they face charges related to the armed carjacking.
