Charlie Dwyer

Commencing Monday, March 4th, 2024, construction activities will be initiated on Cortlandt Street, stretching from Hall Avenue to Pulaski Avenue, as part of the ongoing 2023 Road Program in Perth Amboy.

Scheduled to kick off at 7:00 AM and conclude at 4:00 PM daily, weather permitting, the project aims to enhance the infrastructure along Cortlandt Street. The scope of work encompasses the installation of concrete curbs, sidewalks, and aprons, contributing to the area’s overall improvement.

To facilitate the construction process, temporary no-parking signs will be erected within the work vicinity. Residents are advised to refrain from parking along Cortlandt Street in areas marked by these signs to avoid disruptions and ensure smooth project execution.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise caution while navigating through the construction zones and to remain mindful of the presence of construction equipment and personnel for their safety.

For inquiries or concerns regarding the project, individuals can reach out to the designated engineer, Lou Tedesco, at 732-865-9527 or via email at ltedesco@tandmassociates.com. Your cooperation and understanding during the construction period are greatly appreciated.
