MCKEES ROCKS, PA – The Homicide Unit of the Allegheny County Police Department was called to assist with a shooting investigation in McKees Rocks. After being alerted at 12:16 pm, emergency services rushed to the Speedway on Island Avenue where they discovered an adult male with gunshot injuries. The victim was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where he is currently in critical but stable condition.
Further inquiries revealed that the shooting occurred in the 900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in Coraopolis, prompting homicide detectives to commence a thorough investigation.
