TOMS RIVER, NJ – The Toms River Zoning Board of Adjustment has scheduled a hearing to consider a conditional use permit application by Ocean County Baptist Church. The meeting is set for March 14 at the L. Manuel Hirshblond Meeting Room within the Township of Toms River Municipal Building, located at 33 Washington Street.

The proposal seeks permission for the expansion of a church and school, which requires a variance due to exceeding the maximum allowed impervious lot coverage by 4%, and a reduced buffer to an adjacent residential zone. The premises in question is located at 1380 Old Freehold Road, in the designated 0-10 Office Zone, identified as Block 410.03, Lot 33.01.

Documents related to the application are available for public review at the Township of Toms River Zoning Board of Adjustment office during regular business hours. Interested parties are encouraged to attend the hearing to voice their opinions.
