Frederick Police Department Cracks Down on Prostitution at Massage Parlors

FREDERICK, MD – Following anonymous tips, the Frederick Police Department, spearheaded by Detective Sharpe, joined forces with multiple law enforcement agencies to address allegations of prostitution within several massage parlors across Frederick City. The collaborative effort, involving the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations, culminated in a series of warrants being executed on March 4th, 2024.

The operation led to the arrest of Jinchan Yang, Xiaohong Wan, and Yuxia Chang, who now face charges including 4th Degree Sex Offense and Soliciting Prostitution. The success of this initiative highlights the effectiveness of the Major Crimes Unit and their commitment to combatting illegal activities within the community.
