Snoopy, A New Best Friend Awaits at Forked River Shelter

Chris Quigley

FORKED RIVER, NJ—Snoopy, a striking mix of pointer and pit bull aged approximately 2 and a half years, is eagerly seeking a family to call his own. Having arrived at the Associated Humane Popcorn Park Shelter after his previous owner could no longer provide care, Snoopy’s upbringing shines through in his vibrant, healthy, and remarkably well-mannered demeanor.

Despite his strength and excitement during walks, Snoopy’s playful and gentle nature, coupled with his fetching expertise, makes him an ideal candidate for an active family. He demonstrates an eagerness to interact, obeying commands like sitting on request and displaying a calm demeanor when taking treats. His love for people and other dogs alike suggests he’s a perfect companion for adventures and outdoor activities.

Interested parties are encouraged to reach out to the shelter by calling 609-693-1900 or emailing office@ahsppz.org for an application to adopt Snoopy, who promises to be a loving and loyal friend.
