Female MTA Employee Attacked Inside NYC Train Station with Glass Bottle

NEW YORK, NY – A distressing incident unfolded on Wednesday, March 6, at the 167 Street train station when an on-duty MTA employee was assaulted. At around 11:35 AM, the 38-year-old female victim was on the southbound #4 train when an unidentified male attacked her. The assailant struck her in the face with a glass bottle, resulting in a minor injury to the right side of her face.

The perpetrator was last observed fleeing the scene on foot. Emergency services promptly responded, transporting the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln Hospital. She is reportedly in stable condition following the assault. Authorities are currently seeking information on the unidentified male involved in the attack.
