HARRISBURG, PA — Attorney General Michelle Henry recently provided updates on the prosecutions of two men involved in child pornography crimes. The cases, one in Philadelphia County and another in Northampton County, underscore the state’s commitment to combating the sexual exploitation of minors.

Frederick A. Bost, 29, of Philadelphia County, was sentenced to 11½ to 23 months in prison following his December trial conviction. Bost was found guilty of manufacturing child pornography, misdemeanor corruption of minors, and related charges. The conviction was the result of indecent photographs found on Bost’s cellphone, which were taken of a young child. The Philadelphia Police Department initiated the charges, with Deputy Attorney General Zachary Wynkoop leading the prosecution.

In Northampton County, Zebbelin Standish, 36, faced a jury conviction on 50 felony counts of possession of child pornography, four counts of dissemination of child pornography, and criminal use of a communication facility. The conviction followed a four-day jury trial revealing Standish’s use of a social media application to upload videos. Further investigation of Standish’s cellphone uncovered additional illicit images and videos. Following the verdict, the judge increased Standish’s bail to $1 million, with sentencing scheduled for June 17. Senior Deputy Attorney General Michelle Laucella was responsible for prosecuting the case.

Attorney General Henry emphasized the heinous nature of these crimes and reaffirmed her office’s dedication to protecting children from predatory behaviors.
