Brick Hero Awards to Celebrate Community Contributors

BRICK, NJ – The Mayor’s Student Advisory Committee is set to host the Annual Brick Hero Awards this Friday, March 8. This prestigious event recognizes the exceptional efforts of Brick residents and businesses in enhancing the community through various contributions.

The ceremony will take place in the auditorium of Brick Township High School, located at 346 Chambers Bridge Road, beginning at 7 pm with doors opening at 6:30 pm. The evening will feature performances from the Brick Township High School and Brick Memorial High School choirs and drama clubs, as well as the Brick Dance Team. Tickets, available at the door, are priced at $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors, with all proceeds benefiting The Mayor’s Student Advisory and the Lounge 270 Teen Center.

Mayor Crate emphasized the importance of everyday heroes in the community, stating that the Hero Awards serve to acknowledge and celebrate the significant acts of kindness and contribution within Brick Township. The Mayor’s Student Advisory Committee, comprising students from both Brick Township and Brick Memorial High Schools, aims to enhance civic engagement among the youth and highlight the importance of their role in community leadership.
