Shootout in Philadelphia Leaves One Injured and Bullet Holes Everywhere

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Broad Street was shaken by gunfire this week as dozens of shots were fired between two groups of individuals in a gunfire in the West Poplar neighborhood near a banquet hall.

Early Wednesday morning, a violent shootout among a large group occurred at 801 N. Broad St., directly opposite the MET Theater, leaving two men hospitalized. The Philadelphia Police Department and the Shooting Investigation Group are now soliciting public assistance to identify those involved.

Authorities recovered 33 pieces of ballistic evidence from the scene.


Among the injured, a 45-year-old black male is in critical condition with a gunshot wound to his left eye, while a 42-year-old black male is stable after sustaining a gunshot wound to his right thigh.

The police are actively working to identify the suspects captured in surveillance footage related to the shootout. The department urges anyone with information to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation and help bring those responsible to justice.

Multiple buildings and vehicles were struck by gunfire during the battle.
