CHESAPEAKE, VA – On Friday, Chesapeake Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of South Military Highway and Canal Drive, only to discover a more grim scene.
An adult male was found lying in the roadway, initially suspected to be a victim of a hit-and-run, but further investigation revealed he had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The case is currently under investigation by the Chesapeake Police Department. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward and contact the Crime Line.
