BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ — A road rage confrontation on March 4th led to the arrest of 26-year-old Jake McMahon from Brick. The incident, which involved threats with a folding knife, was reported to Patrolman Peter Bylsma near Mantoloking Rd. and Dock Rd.

The victim informed the officers that McMahon had threatened him after a traffic altercation. The suspect had allegedly exited his vehicle, brandished a knife, and banged on the victim’s window and car. Based on the victim’s detailed description, Patrolman McGrath located McMahon at a 7-11 on Mantoloking Road.

Upon his arrest, McMahon, who had visible injuries on his hands, admitted to his involvement in the altercation. He faces charges related to terroristic threats and weapon possession. McMahon has been released pending a future court appearance.
