WASHINGTON, D.C. – Daniel Greene, a 42-year-old resident of Washington, D.C., has been sentenced to 32 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release for his involvement in package thefts. This sentence was announced by U.S. Attorney Matthew M. Graves and Chief Pamela Smith of the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Greene, who pleaded guilty on January 5, 2024, to two counts of felony second-degree theft, faced sentencing today by Superior Court Judge Erik Christian. The sentences for each count, 16 months each, are to be served consecutively.
