Arrest Made in Evesham Walmart Parking Lot Robbery

EVESHAM, NJ – The Evesham Police Department announced a successful operation leading to the arrest of a suspect in a recent robbery. On February 13, a 42-year-old male victim reported an assault and theft of his laptop in the Walmart parking lot at 150 W. Route 70. The victim, who was selling the laptop through Facebook Marketplace, was attacked by the buyer who then fled towards N. Locust Ave.

The Evesham Police Investigative Bureau launched a comprehensive investigation, identifying Trayvon Turner as the assailant. Following the issuance of an arrest warrant, undercover detectives arranged a sting operation in River Edge, NJ, under the guise of purchasing the stolen laptop. Turner, anticipating another robbery, was apprehended after a short chase. He is currently detained in Burlington County Jail, awaiting his preliminary hearing in Burlington County Superior Court.
