New Jersey State Police Seeks to Fill Forensic Scientist Positions

TRENTON, NJ – The New Jersey State Police (NJSP) has announced its search for qualified individuals to join its Office of Forensic Sciences as Forensic Scientist 1. With 25 positions available, this recruitment drive highlights the critical role forensic scientists play within the NJSP, often operating behind the scenes in lab coats, safety goggles, and latex gloves.

Applicants must meet the FBI’s Quality Assurance Standards (QAS) for DNA testing and databasing and understand the importance of ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.
