ANNAPOLIS, MD – The city of Annapolis is set to host its largest parade of the year, the Annapolis St. Patrick’s Parade, which will kick off at 1pm on Sunday, March 17. The weekend will be filled with festivities celebrating Irish culture and heritage.

Events begin on March 15 with the Annapolis Hooley, an Irish party at Susan Campbell Park from 5 to 10 p.m., requiring tickets for entry. Following this, the Shamrock the Dock concert and festival will enliven Dock Street and Susan Campbell Park. This event starts on Saturday, noon to 10pm, and continues on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., with Sunday’s festivities open to the public at no cost.

The parade route starts below Westgate Circle, moving from Amos Garrett Boulevard down West Street, circling Church Circle, and proceeding down Main Street to end at City Dock. Attendees should note parking restrictions and road closures around the parade route and event venues.

Parking will be prohibited on specific streets from March 11 to 19, and roads along the parade path will be closed on March 17 from before the parade start until around 3 p.m. Those seeking the most current information on traffic and parking can text PADDY2024 to 38276.
