Delaware State Police Investigate Robbery in Camden

CAMDEN, DE – The Delaware State Police are conducting an investigation into a robbery that took place on the evening of March 12 in Camden. The incident occurred on the 4000 block of South State Street around 5:42 p.m.

Initial findings suggest that two teenage juveniles were assaulted and robbed by a group of five unknown males while walking. The attackers subsequently fled with the victims’ possessions. The teenagers were transported to a nearby hospital, suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is being led by the Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit of the Delaware State Police. Authorities are appealing to the public for any information related to the incident. Detective J. Sydnor can be contacted at 302-698-8540 by anyone who can provide assistance.
