Manhunt for Fugitives Wanted in Paterson Shooting

PATERSON, NJ — Authorities are actively searching for a suspect involved in a shooting that injured two people in Paterson on Wednesday night. The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office is leading the investigation into the incident that unfolded just before midnight near North Bridge Street and Watson Avenue.

Upon receiving reports of gunfire, police units were dispatched to the location, where they found two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency responders provided immediate first aid, including CPR, to one of the victims at the scene before both were taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital for further medical attention.

As the search for the assailant continues, details regarding the motive behind the shooting remain unclear, and no arrests have been made thus far. The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office is appealing to the public for any information that could aid in their investigation and lead to the apprehension of the responsible individual.
