Bey Lea Golf Course Set to Unveil New Upgrades in Toms River

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Toms River Recreation Department and the staff at Bey Lea have announced the opening of the Bey Lea Municipal Golf Course for the season on Saturday, March 16th. Golf enthusiasts are in for a treat this year as the course unveils significant upgrades to holes #4, #5, and #6.

The enhancements include the addition of new bunkers, mounding, and specially designed tee boxes for senior and lady golfers. These improvements are part of a broader initiative to revamp the front nine, offering a fresh challenge to golfers of all skill levels.

The Bey Lea staff is also ready to assist golfers with the renewal of their Bey Lea ID cards and to provide information about the Rewards Discount Program. Golfers interested in experiencing the updated course can book their tee time through the Bey Lea reservation website.


Operating hours for March are from 9:00 am until dusk, with twilight golf starting at 1:00 pm, applicable on both weekdays and weekends. This season’s enhancements are expected to significantly elevate the golfing experience at Bey Lea, aligning with Toms River Township’s commitment to fostering recreational and sporting activities.
