Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspect in Parsippany

PARSIPPANY, NJ — An armed robbery occurred at a business on Route 46 at approximately 6:51 p.m. on March 1, prompting an immediate response from local law enforcement. The Parsippany Police Department was dispatched to the scene following reports of the robbery, with the suspect described as a tall, slender male dressed in all black, wearing a white trucker-style hat, and white sneakers. It was reported that the suspect was armed with a handgun.

Upon their arrival, officers conducted a thorough evacuation of the multi-unit building to ensure the safety of all individuals inside. A comprehensive search of the building and surrounding area was carried out, though the suspect was not found. Assistance in the search was provided by the Morris County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Section and K-9 Unit, along with the State Police and other local agencies.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries resulting from the incident. The investigation is ongoing, and the Parsippany Police Department is urging anyone with information to contact their Investigative Branch at 973-263-4300.
