Teen Pulls Gun on Spring Breakers at Florida Beach

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FL – A 16-year-old, identified as Felixander Solis-Guzman from Lakeland, was arrested by deputies after brandishing a firearm among spring breakers. The incident, which occurred Thursday afternoon on New Smyrna Beach, saw the teenager taken into custody approximately five minutes following the event.

Deputies, while patrolling near Flagler Avenue around 3:45 p.m., responded to a disturbance. Upon arrival, they witnessed Solis-Guzman wielding a handgun and fleeing into the ocean after discarding the weapon and a bag he carried. He surrendered to the authorities at around 3:50 p.m., following their commands.

No injuries were reported from the episode. The deputies successfully retrieved the firearm and the bag, which contained 20 small bags of marijuana. Solis-Guzman faces multiple charges, including three counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and sale of marijuana.
