Drunk Driver Nearly Crashes Several Times on Route 166 in Toms River, Police Report

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Toms River police officers arrested Miguel Sanchez-Garcia after he was observed by patrol officers swerving and having difficulty maintaining his lane of travel. A traffic stop was initiated after a following officer observed Mr. Sanchez-Garcia nearly causing several accidents while traveling on Route 166 in Glenwood Road.

He initially failed all of the officer’s field sobriety tests and was reported to ave a blood alcohol content of .22%.

Sanchez-Garcia was arrested and transported to police headquarters.
