Woman Accosted in Late Night Carjacking on Crain Highway

GLEN BURNIE, MD – A Glen Burnie woman was left shaken and scared after being accosted during a carjacking last night.

A carjacking took place on the evening of March 14, on the 300 block of Crain Highway, prompting a response from local law enforcement. At around 10:15 p.m., a 24-year-old woman was accosted by two male suspects as she exited her gray 2008 Infiniti.

One of the perpetrators brandished a handgun, coercing the victim into handing over her keys. Subsequently, both suspects made their escape in the stolen vehicle. Despite a thorough search of the vicinity, officers were unable to recover the car or apprehend the suspects. Thankfully, the incident did not result in any physical injuries.


Authorities have released descriptions of the suspects: one of unspecified race donned in all-black attire and a face mask, and the other identified as a Black male, similarly dressed entirely in black.
