In partnership with the United States Attorney’s Offices for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina and the Victim Services Interagency Council of North Carolina, A Safe Place will be hosting a candlelight vigil ceremony honoring crime victims, survivors, and their families. The evening will involve gathering as a community, participating in a candlelight walk beginning at the Alton Lennon Federal Building, and hearing from our guest speakers: Jason Smith with the New Hanover County District Attorney’s Office, Brian Stephany with the United States Attorney’s Office, and two family members of local crime victims.
