D.C. Police Make Arrest in Triple Stabbing

WASHINGTON, DC – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District have successfully apprehended a suspect in connection with a stabbing incident that resulted in injuries to three adult males.

The altercation took place on January 8, at around 12:44 a.m., in the 1900 block of 9th Street, Northwest. Following an argument, the suspect, wielding a knife, stabbed the victims. All victims were reported to have sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.

On March 14, Third District officers arrested 31-year-old Tavonte Graham Peeka, a resident of Southeast, DC. He faces charges of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
