Early Morning Double Stabbing in Brooklyn Leaves Woman Dead, Another Injured

NEW YORK CITY, NY — A tragic incident unfolded early this morning in Brooklyn, leaving one young woman dead and another injured. Police were dispatched to the scene at 77 4th Avenue in the Park Slope neighborhood following a 911 call reporting an assault in progress around 2:20 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two 19-year-old women with stab wounds. One victim had sustained a stab wound to the chest, while the other suffered a stab wound to the arm. Emergency Medical Services swiftly responded, transporting both victims to New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Despite medical efforts, the woman with the chest wound was pronounced dead at the hospital. The second victim is currently listed in stable condition, recovering from her injuries.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing, and the police investigation is actively ongoing. The identity of the deceased victim has yet to be released, pending notification of her family.
