Body Found on Oregon Ridge Trail in Towson

TOWSON, MD — A body was discovered just before 4 p.m. Sunday on the Oregon Ridge Trail, prompting an immediate response from the Baltimore County Police Department. The decomposed body was located off the trail and has since been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy to ascertain the cause of death.

The identity of the deceased male remains unknown at this time.

Authorities believe this to be an isolated incident, posing no active threat to the community. The Baltimore County Police Department has also highlighted the availability of support through the Baltimore County Crisis Response System (BCCRS) at 410-931-2214 or the national crisis hotline at 988 for anyone in need of emergency emotional support. The BCCRS hotline offers free and confidential assistance.
