TRENTON, NJ – Following a brief period of warm weather, New Jersey is bracing for the return of colder temperatures. The forecast for tonight predicts partly cloudy skies with temperatures dropping to a low around 38 degrees, accompanied by northwest winds at 5 to 10 mph.

Monday will see mostly sunny skies with a high near 50 degrees, but conditions will be breezy, with west winds ranging from 10 to 20 mph. The trend of chilly evenings will continue into Monday night, with temperatures expected to fall to around 30 degrees under partly cloudy skies and west winds at 10 to 15 mph.

Tuesday’s forecast calls for mostly sunny conditions with a high nearing 48 degrees. West winds will persist at 10 to 15 mph, with gusts reaching up to 30 mph. That night, the area can expect mostly cloudy skies and a low around 36 degrees, with west winds at 5 to 10 mph and gusts up to 20 mph.


The weather on Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 55 degrees, although breezy conditions are anticipated. By Wednesday night, temperatures are expected to plummet to around 27 degrees under partly cloudy skies, maintaining breezy conditions.

The latter part of the week will continue to see sunny to mostly sunny days with highs in the mid to upper 40s. However, nights will be marked by partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies and lows dipping into the high 20s, indicating a brisk end to the warm spell that residents have recently enjoyed.
