Newburgh, NY – A Powerball player in Newburgh has won a third prize of $100,000 in the recent drawing on March 16, the New York Lottery announced today.

The winning ticket was purchased at Smokes 4 Less, located at 59 North Plank Rd in Newburgh.

Powerball numbers are chosen from a set of one to 69, with the Power Ball drawn from a pool of one to 26. The Power Play option, which the winning ticket utilized, can increase non-jackpot prizes by up to ten times. Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
