Annual Easter Egg Hunt Scheduled at Constitution Park

CUMBERLAND, MD — The City of Cumberland Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce the return of the annual Easter Egg Hunt. The festive event is set for Friday, March 29, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Constitution Park, welcoming children aged 12 and under.

This family-friendly activity offers an opportunity for children to meet and take photos with the Easter Bunny, so attendees are encouraged to bring their devices for pictures. To ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all, the egg hunt will be organized into four age divisions: 3 years and under, 4-5 years old, 6-8 years old, and 9-12 years old. Each group will search for eggs in separate sections of the park simultaneously.

Participants are reminded to bring their baskets or bags to collect Easter eggs. The hunt will feature special prize eggs, generously donated by local businesses, organizations, and supporters of the event. Prizes will be awarded to winners in each age category.
