Group Juvenile Victims Robbed of Bicycles at Gunpoint

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A distressing robbery incident occurred in Glen Burnie on the evening of March 17, leaving a 12-year-old and his friends without their bicycles. According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and Marley Neck Boulevard around 6:25 p.m. following reports of a robbery involving juvenile victims.

The 12-year-old male victim recounted how he and two friends were riding their bicycles when they were confronted by three unidentified suspects. One of the suspects revealed a handgun by lifting his shirt and demanded the victims surrender their bicycles. Following the theft, the suspects fled the scene, leaving the young victims unharmed but shaken.

Northern District detectives have taken charge of the investigation, appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the identification and arrest of the suspects involved in this alarming act.
