D.C. Police Launch Search for Black Infiniti In Wake Of Fatal Shooting

Washington, D.C. – In the wake of a tragic shooting early Sunday morning in Northwest, D.C., D.C.Police are calling on the community for assistance in tracking down a vehicle of interest. The incident, which unfolded at around 3:01 a.m. on March 17 at the intersection of 7th and P Streets, Northwest, resulted in five individuals being wounded and two men losing their lives.

Upon their arrival, Third District officers discovered three men and two women on the 600 block of P Street, Northwest, all with gunshot injuries. While the wounded were rushed to local hospitals, two additional men were found deceased at the scene. Identified as 32-year-old Anthony Brown from Southeast, D.C., and 32-year-old Jay Lucks from Baltimore, MD, the investigation into the motive behind their shooting is ongoing, with early findings indicating an intentional attack.

Detectives are seeking a black Infiniti caught on a nearby surveillance camera as a vehicle of interest in this case.


The D.C. Metro Police Department is offering a total reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
