TRENTON, NJ – It was Easter of 2020 and New Jerseyans were locked inside their homes and out of their businesses. Thousands were dying from a deadly pandemic brought about by COVID-19.

And the governor of New Jersey was hopping around his living room pretending to be the Easter Bunny with his wife, now senatorial candidate Tammy Murphy in a full bunny costume.

In the video, posted to Twitter (now X), Murphy told residents of New Jersey to ‘Say hello to the Easter Bunny when you see her.”

The video starts with the governor hopping around the room with a stuffed animal bunny before sitting in full furry garb beside his wife, Tammy.

The video was posted four years ago.
