D.C. Robbery Suspects Captured on Camera

Washington, D.C. – Detectives from the D.C. Metro Police Department’s Third District are actively seeking assistance from the public to identify two suspects involved in a robbery in Northwest, D.C.

The incident occurred early on Monday, March 11, at around 2:15 a.m., when one suspect ambushed the victim from behind in the 1900 block of 18th Street, Northwest, demanding their belongings while the other suspect rifled through the victim’s pockets.

Following the robbery, the suspects quickly fled the area. Surveillance cameras in the vicinity captured images of the suspects, aiding in their identification.


Authorities are urging anyone with information on the suspects or the incident to refrain from direct intervention and contact the police at (202) 727-9099 or send a tip via text to the D.C. Metro Police Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
