Glen Burnie Park Robbery Leads to Arrest of Three Teen Suspects

GLEN BURNIE, MD – A distressing robbery incident at Southgate Old Mill Park resulted in the swift arrest of three teenagers on March 19, 2024. The incident, which took place around 3:00 p.m. at 8224 Oakwood Road, saw four teenagers robbed at gunpoint by several suspects.

As the investigation was underway, a 911 call reported a vehicle fire involving a stolen white BMW nearby, at the intersection of Oakwood Road and Old Mill Road. A witness’s description led to the identification of three individuals fleeing the scene. The vehicle, confirmed as stolen from Montgomery County, was extinguished by the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, with the fire’s cause remaining under investigation.

The swift action by law enforcement resulted in the capture and arrest of the three suspects, identified as two 17-year-olds and one 15-year-old, all from Severn, Maryland. They have been charged in connection with the robbery and related incidents.
