TRENTON, N.J. – Ford Graham, 60, formerly of Princeton, New Jersey, faces charges in a comprehensive 29-count indictment for his alleged involvement in various fraudulent activities. U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger announced today that Graham is accused of engaging in schemes that aimed to defraud both individuals and institutions out of millions of dollars. The indictment includes charges of wire fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud, securities fraud, aggravated identity theft, money laundering, and unlawful money transactions.

Graham allegedly orchestrated multiple schemes through which he misappropriated investment funds for personal use, including international vacations and private school tuition for his children, leading to a loss of more than $2.6 million for his victims. Additionally, Graham is accused of participating in credit card fraud, using stolen credit card numbers to process fraudulent transactions and quickly diverting the ill-gotten funds.

Furthermore, from February 2017 to June 2018, Graham was allegedly involved in a business email compromise scheme that attempted to redirect millions of dollars in wire transfers to bank accounts under his control. This conspiracy aimed to steal at least $6 million through fraudulent email communications.

The charges Graham faces carry severe penalties, with the most serious counts threatening up to 20 years in prison and substantial fines. The investigation leading to these charges was a joint effort by the FBI, IRS-Criminal Investigation, and the New Jersey Bureau of Securities. U.S. Attorney Sellinger emphasized the commitment to prosecuting those who exploit the financial system for personal gain.
