Woman Assaulted and Robbed at Willets Point-Shea Stadium Subway Station

NEW YORK, NY — A distressing incident occurred on the southbound “7” train platform at the Willets Point-Shea Stadium subway station on Friday, March 8. At approximately 9:00 p.m., a 38-year-old female victim was confronted by two unidentified assailants.

The assailants forcibly took the victim’s cellphone and subsequently fled the station on foot to an undetermined location. In the course of the robbery, the victim was knocked down, resulting in a facial laceration. She declined medical treatment at the scene.

Descriptions of the suspects have been released in hopes of aiding their capture. The first suspect is a male, around 5’7” tall, last seen donning a blue hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect, also a male standing at approximately 5’7”, was observed wearing a blue baseball hat and blue/white jeans.
