Elderly Woman Found Dead on Grand Concourse; Four Detained

NEW YORK, NY – In response to a 911 call received at approximately 1:47 PM, police officers rushed to 322 Grand Concourse in the Bronx. Upon their arrival, they found a 70-year-old woman unconscious and unresponsive.

Emergency Medical Services at the scene declared the woman deceased. In connection with the incident, four individuals have been taken into custody, with charges against them pending.

The NYPD did not reveal how the woman died at this time. The names of the suspects have not been released.


The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death is actively continuing. The identity of the deceased is currently withheld, awaiting the notification of her family.
