19-Year-Old Shot in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Police Department, alongside the Shooting Investigation Group, is reaching out to the community for assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a recent shooting incident.

On the evening of March 13, officers from the 19th District were dispatched to the 5300 block of Lansdowne Ave following a 911 call reporting gunfire and a person armed with a gun. At the scene, law enforcement discovered 13 pieces of ballistic evidence and a 19-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition. Investigators have obtained video footage showing the suspect and his vehicle shortly before the shooting took place.

The suspect is described as a male with medium build. The Philadelphia Police Department and the Shooting Investigation Group are urging anyone with information about the suspect to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
