17-Year-Old Charged for Murder of Teen, Dog in McKees Rocks


MCKEES ROCKS, PA
– In a significant development, the Allegheny County Police Department has charged a 17-year-old, Tavarius Lee of Pittsburgh, in the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Ronald Fuller in McKees Rocks.

The incident, which occurred at approximately 5:16 PM on March 4, unfolded at the intersection of 3rd St and Boquet Street, prompting a swift response from local first responders. U

pon arrival, they discovered Fuller with multiple gunshot wounds, leading to his subsequent death at a nearby hospital. The incident also resulted in the death of a neighbor’s dog and endangered four bystanders, including children, who were in the vicinity.


The McKees Rocks Police, seeking specialized expertise, enlisted the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit to spearhead the investigation. The detectives’ thorough examination included interviews and evaluating surveillance footage from around the crime scene.
