75-Year-Old Killed in Hit and Run in South Jersey

BURLINGTON TWP., NJ – The New Jersey State Police is calling for public assistance in a hit-and-run investigation following a tragic accident that led to a fatality on Interstate 295. The incident occurred in the vicinity of milepost 46.8 in Burlington Township, Burlington County.

Investigators revealed that the crash happened around 8:15 a.m. on Sunday, March 17, when a midsize vehicle or pickup truck, moving northbound, hit 75-year-old Yvrose Germain of Willingboro, N.J. Germain suffered fatal injuries due to the collision.

The police are urging anyone with information, especially those who witnessed the crash or events leading up to or following it, to come forward. Contact details provided for tips is the Troop “C” Bordentown Station at 609-298-1171, extension 5004.
