BROOKLYN, NY – In the Powerball drawing on March 23, three third-prize tickets, each worth $50,000, were sold in New York. These winning tickets were distributed across Brooklyn, Mount Vernon, and Manhattan, bringing a wave of excitement to the respective areas.

The fortunate locations include 229 Knickerbocker Meat in Brooklyn, Fleetwood Stationery in Mount Vernon, and Murry Hill Mini Mart in Manhattan. Each store sold a ticket that matched numbers for a third prize in the Powerball game. The Powerball drawings, which require matching numbers from a field of one to 69 and a separate red Power Ball from a field of one to 26, are held three times a week—every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 PM.
