Arrest Made in 2023 Northwest D.C. Shooting

Washington, D.C. – A significant breakthrough has occurred in a 2023 shooting case, with D.C. Metro Police Department’s Third District detectives announcing the arrest of a man. This development stems from an incident that took place in Northwest D.C.

On April 18, 2023, around 3:25 pm, officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Gresham Place in Northwest following reports of a shooting. They found an adult male victim with gunshot wounds, who was subsequently rushed to a hospital with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.

In a coordinated effort on Friday, the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, under a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, apprehended 48-year-old Adrian Terrence Lee of Northwest, D.C. Lee faces charges of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, marking a pivotal move in addressing gun violence in the area.
