Convicted Seven-Time Felon Found with Illegal Gun in Orlando

ORLANDO, FLIn a recent indictment, Darryl James London faces charges for unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Darryl James London, 46, of Orlando, was indicted for holding a Charter Arms revolver and ammunition on November 14, despite his criminal history. London, previously convicted of seven felonies between 2001 and 2022, is federally prohibited from owning firearms and ammunition. If found guilty, he risks up to 15 years in federal prison.

The indictment also seeks the forfeiture of the firearm, ammunition, and any related assets, signaling the government’s crackdown on felons unlawfully possessing weapons. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives led the investigation, with the Orlando Police Department providing support. Assistant United States Attorney Richard Varadan is prosecuting the case, emphasizing the strict enforcement of laws preventing convicted felons from accessing firearms.
