D.C. Police Release Photo Of Stabbing Suspect

Washington, D.C. – D.C. Police are calling on the public for help in locating a suspect linked to a recent stabbing in the Marshall Heights area of Southeast D.C. This appeal follows a violent altercation that left one individual wounded.

On the evening of March 8th, around 9:29 p.m., a confrontation on the 4500 block of Benning Road, Southeast, escalated into violence, resulting in the stabbing of the victim. The assailant absconded from the scene before law enforcement officers could arrive.

Authorities have obtained footage of the suspect from nearby surveillance cameras.


They are urging anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity or details of the incident to contact the police at (202) 727-9099. Alternatively, tips can be sent anonymously to the MPD’s TEXT TIP LINE by texting to 50411. The police stress that individuals with information should not approach the suspect but rather reach out to law enforcement to assist in the investigation.
